About Sophia Emmanuel

Sophia Emmanuel is a hairstylist and a IAT Certified Trichologist.  A trichologist helps people who have problems with their hair and scalp.  Some these problems include hair loss, hair breakage, excessive itching or scaling of the scalp.  Sophia wanted to understand why some clients experience hair loss and what she could do as a hairstylist to address the problem.  Trichology gave Sophia a deeper understanding of how chemical products affect the hair.  Trichologist learn that scalp care is equally important as hair care. Trichology highlights what hair stylist must do to prevent damage instead of just treating problems.  Sophia is able to apply color and other chemicals to the hair using products and techniques that give her clients the look they want without compromising the integrity of the hair.  She has been a hairstylist for 15 years and invests in continuing education to bring back the latest and safest trends in hair care.  Sophia specializes in haircuts, color, hair repair treatments and relaxers.
